Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Information Technology Manager leads the IT staff that leverages current technologies to enable the organization to operate efficiently and effectively.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Works with the management team to develop the IT vision to achieve company goals
  • Works with the business team and IT staff to identify opportunities for system improvements
  • Develops strategies with the IT staff to implement new and enhanced systems
  • Establishes IT project and investment priorities with the management team
  • Works closely with e-Commerce Director on the implementation of the e-commerce platform
  • Evaluates existing systems and processes
  • Oversees all aspects of the company’s IT infrastructure and systems
  • Promotes information security at all levels of the organization
  • Mentors individual IT team members to increase their ability to analyze problems and develop solutions
  • Builds and develops healthy and productive relationships


Infrastructure and System Administration

  • Network - Cisco, Palo Alto, Ubiquity, pfSense
  • Servers - AS400, Windows, Linux, Hyper-V
  • VOIP Phone System - FreePBX
  • Veeam backup
  • Office Applications - Office 365 and various applications to support business needs
  • 20+ offices and remote users

Software Development

  • ERP System - Proprietary AS400 application
  • EDI integration
  • E-commerce - Proprietary PHP web application and web services
  • WMS - Third-Party

Recent and Active Projects

  • Replaced ERP system
  • Two automated distribution centers
  • New state-of-the-art corporate headquarters
  • Corporate VOIP system

Experience and Skills:

Desired Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or work equivalent
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience successfully leading major software and/or infrastructure projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally moves up to 40 lbs.
  • Frequently sitting.
  • Operate a computer
